The Côte des Bar is located in the southernmost area of Champagne in the Pays d’Aube. Which is as far south as you can get in the region-- just above Chablis. So instead of chalky soils it is kimmeridgian (Seashells) soils. All the fruit is hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks before aging in the bottle for 20 months. Disgorged then finished with Dosage of 9 g/L.
