This delicious and fairly unknown Rhone varietal was fermented in neutral french oak barrels and bottled early after four months of aging. This young and expressive white wine has a smooth, medium bodied weight with crisp tropical notes that showcase its youthful character.
Nolan Ranch is located in Alisos Canyon. Alisos Canyon is an AVA (American Viticulture Area) located east of the small town of Los Alamos in Santa Barbara County. This area is heavily influenced by the marine-layer from the Pacific Ocean just 20 miles south. The cool fog bank flows up and down the canyon like an ebbing tide that adds a bright acidity to the wines that already show tons of minerality from the sandstone and shale weathered earth.
