A syrah that exudes place! This syrah is a medium bodied wine with a soft acidity and brimming with blueberries and black currants. Aged for ten months in neutral french oak barrels that lend to a sensual vanilla characteristic that integrates with notes of white pepper and sage.
Minetti Vineyard is a small family-owned vineyard located on the far-eastern side of the Santa Maria Valley. This site is only planted with syrah and located a stones throw from the famed Colson Canyon Vineyard off Tepusquet Road. The Tepusquet Canyon snakes up the foothills from the valley floor and winds upward toward the mountains of the Los Padres National Forest. This is a distinct and unique vineyard site, planted in some of the most unconventional farming terrain; steep, rugged and rocky hillsides peppered with native sage and live oaks; perfect for Syrah vines.
